M3 Graphics · Houston
Redesigning a sign shop's website and social so buyers can find, trust and call them.
M3 Graphics makes signs, vehicle wraps, printing and political campaign materials in Houston. I redesigned their website around how customers actually shop for signs, raised its AI-search (AEO) score from 82 to 91, and rebuilt their social strategy, filming and editing the reels myself.
Background
The old site looked fine, but it made buyers work.
A vague headline, a phone number you couldn't tap and a quote button that took people away from the page. Buyers had to work to ask for a sign.

Before & after
Drag to compare, on the phone where buyers actually look.
The old first screen was a dim photo and a headline. The new one says what M3 does, offers a quote and puts a tappable phone number right there.
How might we get a local business owner from "who are these people?" to a quote request in one visit?
Why the redesign made sense
Six UX decisions, each with a reason.
- ClaritySay what you do in three words"Premier Custom Signage & Print Solutions" became "We print. We build. We brand." Visitors know what M3 does in under five seconds.
0→ 2 formsAsk for a quote without leavingThe old site had no form on the homepage. Now the quote form is right there, so the most important action is one step away.0→ 6 linksTap to call, everywhereMost local buyers browse on their phones. The number is now tappable in the header, hero, contact and footer.- Information architectureServices the way customers thinkGrouped into Exterior, Interior, Graphics, Printing and Political, so people find their project type instead of scanning a long list.
- TrustProof before the pitchLogos of brands across Texas, real installs in "Our work", and a "financing available" tab answer "can I trust them?" early.
- Accessibility & AEOReadable by people and AIDescriptive alt text (the old homepage had none on 44 images), clear headings and answer-ready copy so AI search can recommend M3.
The new homepage
Services, proof, work and a quote form, in that order.

AEO · answer engine optimization
From 82 to 91, and still climbing.
People now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI for "sign companies near me." I structured the content so those answers can find and cite M3. On Framer's AEO audit the site went from 82 to 91, and I'm still improving it.

Social · before
A feed full of finished signs, and no story.
About 90% of posts were final products. Great work, but nobody could tell what M3 does, how it's made, or why to trust them.

Social · the plan
Six content pillars that answer "what, how and why M3?"
Process, final product, educational, product photos, team and trends, dropping final-product posts from 90% to 20% of the feed.

Reels I filmed & edited
Process, installs and campaigns, shot on a phone and a gimbal.
Raw, fast and satisfying beats overproduced, so I filmed in the shop and on site and edited every reel.
Paid social
Ads that speak to one buyer at a time.
"Election ready," "Listing ready," "Opening ready," "Growth ready": each ad speaks to a specific customer and ends with one clear action.

Marketing plan
A calendar, a production plan and a paid strategy.
